Canvas awnings are not as durable as their aluminum and Lexan cousins but they more than make up for that with classic beauty and style. Solution dyed acrylic fabrics, like Sunbrella, offer an endless number of colorfast and durable pattern options. If you have a favorite color or pattern you want to match, we can probably do it. Canvas awnings come in two categories, stationery frame and retractable.

Stationery Frame Awnings-

Stationery frame awnings can be made in numerous shapes and sizes. In fact, these awnings are the most versatile in terms of our ability to customize the shape. Most stationery awnings are laced to a steel frame, giving you the option to take the canvas down for the winter months and have it re-installed in the spring ,in order to save on wear and tear. Typical installations are on decks, patios, doors and windows. Some shapes like domes, waterfall, classic patios and more, you may already be familiar with. However, we can custom-make most shapes so call us and see what we can create for you.

Retractable Canvas Awnings-

Retractable canvas awnings are probably my personal favorite because I like the option to have shade or sun. In addition, they are beautiful, versatile and I don’t have to take them down in fall and installed again each spring. Having these options adds years to your fabric and saves you money on the labor of taking down and installing each year. Retractable awnings are also cool, pun intended, they are really cool. They can be easily manually operated or motorized. I love the motorized system. We also use solution dyed acrylic fabrics that offer unlimited choices of color, style and integrity.
